Best Brunch in Lisbon
The Folks
Breakfast, brunch and specialty coffee spot.
@thefolkslisbon / @bestinlisbon_
If you’re in Chiado and looking for a cool brunch spot, check out The Folks. It’s got a really chill vibe with funky music, awesome decor, and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. The food is seriously delicious, and it’s a great spot to people-watch, especially with the restaurant’s open design.
We totally recommend trying the Turkey Breast Benedict—think toasted brioche, slow-cooked turkey breast, mustard sauce, salted cucumbers, fried kale, and two perfectly cooked eggs topped with hollandaise sauce. They’ve also got five locations around Lisbon, each with its own vibe and unique menu, so it’s worth exploring!
Tomorrow at 9
All-week brunch with Balinese-inspired decor.
@maxticorn / @bestinlisbon_
If you’re looking for a chill brunch spot in Avenidas Novas, Tomorrow at 9 is a must-visit. This place gives off major Bali vibes with its japandi interior style, making it feel super relaxing. The food is top-notch, and the coffee is just as great.
You’ve got to try the Shrimp Flatbread—it comes with shrimp, a tofu-based sauce, avocado, parmesan, and sesame seeds. Just a heads up, it can get crowded during brunch, but if you go between 8-11am, you should be fine!
It’s a massive space with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for hanging out with friends or even getting some work done (we noticed a few people on laptops).
Dear Breakfast
Breakfast and brunch at multiple spots.
@dearbreakfast / @bestinlisbon_
Dear Breakfast in Santos is the perfect spot if you’re into beautiful aesthetics and amazing food. The vibe is super cozy, but the real standout is how quickly the food comes out and how incredible it tastes.
You’ve got to try the Halloumi Pancakes—melty halloumi cheese inside a pancake with candied bacon, harissa, and a crispy egg on top.
They also offer a solid Brunch option for €22, which lets you pick a bread, starter, main, and both a hot and cold drink. Definitely a great deal if you’re feeling indecisive!
Hygge
Hygge is about an atmosphere and an experience.
@Nhi Pham / @hyggekaffe
Hygge in Baixa really nails that cozy, welcoming vibe. The staff is super friendly, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into the decor and atmosphere. It’s a bit cramped, but the charm of the place makes up for it. Perfect for brunch, breakfast, or even just a sweet snack with some good coffee.
We recommend the Mysa Brunch—it comes with a florentine sandwich, croissant with homemade jams and butter, yoghurt with granola, red fruits and honey, a cinnamon roll, and juice of the day.
It does get busy, but you can reserve a table to avoid the wait!
Heim
Cozy Portuguese cafe with a warm vibe.
@heimcafe.lisbon / @bestinlisbon_
Heim in Santos is the perfect cozy spot for brunch. The vibe here is warm and inviting, with great music to kickstart your day. The food is top-notch, and the variety on the menu is impressive.
We loved the friendly staff and the amazing flavors—definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. You’ve got to try the Sweet Dreams, which is french toast served with scrambled eggs, bacon, guacamole, feta, beet hummus, and more. They also offer a €17 brunch menu that includes a bunch of tasty treats.
Seating is limited, but the line moves quickly when it’s busy!
Fauna & Flora
All day food and cocktails.
@Fauna & Flora- Anjos / @bestinlisbon_
Fauna & Flora in Anjos is an awesome spot for brunch with an urban chic vibe. The interior is beautifully designed with lots of plants and big windows that let in great light.
It’s super cozy, and the service is always delightful. There’s a tasty variety of brunch options, and if you’re into cocktails, they’ve got some great ones to pair with your meal.
We highly recommend trying the Spicy Pumpkin pancakes, which come with pumpkin jam, ginger, cinnamon, cream cheese, and caramelized nuts. They’ve got four locations around Lisbon, all with cool decor and plenty of greenery!
